This work begins with a WLM Core Team Facilitator working with campus leaders team (CLT) to complete the WLM Equity Achievement and Diversity Assessment, a campus-wide survey, and listening sessions with students, faculty, staff, and administrators. After The WLM Core Team Facilitator reviews the survey and listening session results with The Campus Leadership Team, and they work towards DEI Strategic Planning or completing the Campus Plan for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Outcome:

A Campus-Wide Strategic Plan for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging

Recommended (CLT) Team Members

Clear support of Campus Leadership is an expected aspect of this service.

Strategic Planning Action Phases

Phase I

  • Create Campus Leadership Team and conduct an initial orientation with the team
  • WLM and Campus Leadership Team complete the WLM Assessment
  • WLM presents Assessment results to Campus Leadership Team and campus leaders

Phase II

  • WLM and Campus Leadership Team create questions for campus listening sessions
  •  WLM Facilitator conducts campus listening sessions
  • WLM analyzes qualitative data and presents results to Campus Leadership Team (CLT)

Phase III

  • WLM and Campus Leadership Team create a campus questionnaire
  • Campus Questionnaire launches
  • WLM analyzes survey results and presents results to Campus Leadership Team (CLT)

Phase IV

  • WLM Facilitator and CLT drafts Strategic Diversity Plan
  • Draft Strategic Plan edits begin
  • Strategic Plan is complete and presented to Campus Leadership for approval
