Campus Leadership Team (CLT)

This work begins with a WLM Core Team Facilitator working with campus leaders to complete the WLM Equity Achievement and Diversity Assessment. Based on the results of the assessment, the WLM Core Team Facilitator works in partnership with the Campus Leadership Team to create a customized Campus Action Plan designed to address areas that need improvement, as well as build on identified strengths. The Campus Action Plan could either provide the foundation for a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan, or could be an assessment of an existing Strategic Plan. Following the completion of the Campus Action Plan, the WLM Core Team Facilitator will facilitate monthly meetings with the Campus Leadership Team to monitor progress and make recommendations to ensure continued improvement and progress.

Outcome:

A customized Campus-Wide Plan for Inclusion, Equity and Belonging

Recommended (CLT) Team Members

Clear support of Campus Leadership is an expected aspect of this service. 

Achievement Evaluation

WLM’s Consultant works with the institution to create an initial Campus Leadership Team. The Team then reviews the institution’s current approaches to cross-cultural student achievement, examines university policies, procedures, and practices, and evaluates infrastructures to determine effectiveness and capacity for equity building.

Planning and Implementation

Results of the Achievement Evaluation are presented to Team and Campus Leaders by WLM consultant.

Campus Leadership Team then assess results to create a:
–  Campus Action Plan or
–  Strategic Diversity Plan

The Team implements the selected plan with the WLM Facilitator’s assistance. Monthly meetings to monitor progress – providing further recommendations, training, and consulting.
